Tempest Guild
« on: January 29, 2008, 10:30:55 PM »
Tempest is a hardcore Elyos guild. I say we are hardcore at everything, I wont call it a PVP or PVE guild, because I believe PVP will be an integral part of Aion and will be required to do most things in the game (get gear, kill raid bosses, do quests, get castles, etc...). Our main focus will be on anything that will help the clan progress (most likely the easiest ways), whether it be random gank pvp parties, farming raid bosses, sieges, quests, etc... we will be taking a hardcore approach to it.

We will be playing on the biggest server (first one on the list/the open beta server...the Bartz of Lineage 2). We will have organization of the highest level, and advancing everyone together at the same level is our main goal. We will be participating in all major server events as much as possible (sieges, raids, etc). We will be running clan exp/pvp parties on a regular basis, and helping members finish quests/get some lvls will be our focus until the majority of players are at the end-game level.

We are looking for people who will play the role of their character. We are not looking for clerics with dps builds, we are looking for clerics made for healing. We plan to have well rounded parties which require each character doing their role. If you want melee dps, be a gladiator or an assassin, if you want to support be a cleric or a chanter, we do not want hybrids. That being said we plan to work mostly within the clan...We expect everyone to be forming parties with other clan members, not with random people. We assure anyone who choses to be support that might have trouble on their own soloing, that they will be guaranteed parties and help for their quests, exp and gear. Supports will probably be the fastest to level up. We plan to accomplish things through teamwork, we do not want people who go on their own farming for their own gear and building their characters to work well alone.

We have been a clan for years on different games and are a tightly-knit group. We have been together under this clan name on different L2 servers (retail and private) and have had some expereince with WoW as well othher games. We know what it takes to be on top of other games, and we plan on being a top force on our Aion server.

It appears that the servers will not be wiped after the Open Beta, therefore the official start for our clan will be the day that beta opens. If this is the case we will have the clan organized and set up long before the game is actually released.

 • You must be an active player. We do not expect no-lifers, but logging in once or twice a week does not cut it.
 • You must participate in major events (sieges/raids) and you must be helping other clan members out when they need it (pvp/quests). We wont tolerate people logging on randomly just doing their own thing all the time, teamwork is a must.
 • You must use Ventrilo. For organization purposes everyone always must be in the Ventrilo server, and it beats typing stuff out. Especially when we are doing clan events, when a leader tells us to do something, you need to be on vent to hear it.
 • We expect you to be a mature player and show respect to everyone else.
 • You must be an experienced gamer, or atleast have a willingness to learn. It is not enough to simply organize a bunch of people for a mass pvp, people have to know what to do, where to be and who to listen to.
We arent a strict clan with many rules, but there are a few simple ones that must be followed:
• No in clan drama tolerated. Take it to PM's or bring your problems up with a leader.
 • When we are organizing for something, pay attention and do what you are told. Don't be spamming chats. If we are in a siege/raid, dont be talking in clan chat or vent unless it is something important and related to what we are doing. Dont yell in vent "attack my target" or something like that, thts for the party chat.
 • Respect everyone and do what leaders tell you to do.
 • Help out other members. Going around always on your own and ignoring everything the clan is doing wont be tolerated.
 • Be on for events. We don't expect you to skip school/work or something rediculous like that, but we will be giving advances on when we plan to kill raid bosses or participate in sieges and you are expected to be on for them.

There is still much to know about the game mechanics of Aion, but we are working out what we think the best exp, raid, pvp (gank) and mass pvp parties should be. Our guild will most likely be organized with classes for mass pvp and raid boss parties, other styles will be a secondary priority. We want to have a certain amount of each class in the guild, so as we get closer to launch, there will be restrictions on what classes people can play or what classes will be allowed to join, but since it is still far from launch it is not that important right now.

We will be setting up the clan so that anytime something important needs to be done, it can get done. We will never be missing raids, sieges or important events because there was no tank or leader online.

We still dont know what the clan member cap will be and if there will be alliances or not, but either way will will be working closely with some other clans (ie: sharing a vent, participating in sieges/raids together). There is a clan I played Lineage 2 and another clan from a different game that we will be cooperating with on the same server.

If you are interested in applying, please go to our forums Tempest Forums and make a thread in our recruiting section with the following info:

Nick Name:
What class you would like to play:
Experience in other games (What level were you? Did you participate in end game stuff like sieges/raids?):
Location and Timezone:
Age:
Will anyone in Tempest vouch for you? (Or how do you know us?):
How many hours do you play per day?:
Can you be on for important events (not expecting you to skip work/school or anything)?:
Are you able to be on vent and do you have mic?:

Thanks and we look forward to seeing you in Aion :)

Hello, Im from tempest aswell. If you want to apply pls go here: http://z15.invisionfree.com/Tempest_Forums/index.php?showforum=2 and make a post similar to the one you just made. There are instructions on the forum.

It sounds good, we will be hardcore and expecting people to know the game/their char well, but all you need to do is put the time in. We will be running clan parties and such to lvl up fast, you just need to join them. And you will have to learn how to pvp with your char in all situations (1v1, party vs party and mass pvp).

We also have a few other members from poland. GL
