They use the CryEngine2 which is the same as the one used for CRYSIS.
I hardly doubt that you will run a game like that on 512 RAM and a Radeon 9600(Windows XP).
With Vista, you'll need AT LEAST 1 GB , because Vista needs 1 GB for its own.
Running Vista, you'll need something like :
CPU : Intel Dual Core / Quad Core 1.66GHz
RAM : 2 GB RAM
V(ideo)RAM : 128 - 256, depending on your model.

So I have been pretty stoked for this games' release. I just wonder if my workstation I rebuilt can handle this game...

I have a Dual Xeon SL56N 1.7Ghz 256KB L2 400Mhz FSB (2 possessors, single core)
1GB of Rambus PC800 (I can upgrade it to 8GB if I need too its just to damn expensive-8 slots filled with 128MB)
VisionTek Radeon HD 2400 256MB DDR2 OC'ed Core to 700Mhz (Ram at 800)
4x 36GB SCSI 10K RPM
Windows XP Pro SP2

I used to play WoW on a P3 500mhz 1GB PC133 Ram and Radeon 9000 64MB and the detail settings were pretty high. But that possessor was only 300Mhz below the min Requirement. I keep seeing Pentium 4 2.8Ghz, so this time around I am a whole 1100Mhz off the mark. Plus my Ram and Video are not twice the minimum like before.

Think I stand much of a chance?

I also assume this game is pretty much coded for single core possessors and wont utilize a 2nt core or 2nt possessor? I hope I am wrong
