Who we are, our goalsThe Triad community is a gaming team that has played together through various games since 2005. We have had a dominate presence in various MMO´s such as Guildwars, Lotro, Warhammer, Aoc, etc.
We plan on being very active in every aspect of the game pvp/pve. Although we will concentrate on pvp more than anything else; that does not mean we won't be doing any pve. So don't worry. We would fall into the category of a "Hardcore" Legion with most of our members being online 15+ hours a day, please keep in mind we don't expect that from every member as we are aware everyone has different commitments, kids, jobs etc.
Our Goals:It is important to note that our members approach the game in a professional manner.
When The Triad steps on PvP conflicted ground the opposing faction will know it, they will feel it and they will hate it. Our ability to function and operate as a team is unsurpassed.
We have a simple goal, and that is to quite simply dominate and annihilate any Elyos that we see, there will be no quarter, no peace....only blood.
We plan on being a contributing force within The Abyss on a daily basis, fighting alongside our Asmodian brothers and sisters, together we shall stand, and alone they shall fall !!!!!!
Our members are the cornerstones of our Guild's Success, having strict guidelines for recruiting ensures Strength, Growth, and Progression within the Guild.
Basic Ruleset:- The most important rule that all members must follow, is that we must all behave responsibly and treat all members with respect. Anyone with the Legion name represents The Triad. So you must all remember that all your actions make up the overall reputation of the Legion, and if you are seen to be undermining that reputation then you will be removed from the Legion.
- When raiding all members MUST be on Ventrilo. Failure to do so will result in you not being allowed into the raid. There is no requirement of a microphone but it is weclome that you are able to both listen and speak since some of the encounters might require fast communication. It is however advisable not to speak too much during the mayhem as too many voices on ventrilo defeats the object of effective communication (Imagine 50 people screaming "Elyos behind us !!!!") . Details of our ventrilo server will be given to succesful applicants.
- When raiding you must always follow the Raid Leader's directions. If you have suggestions of changes in strategy, suggest them AFTER the raid has ended - not in the middle of it unless asked.
- Whilst raiding is serious business, it is also about having fun, which is something we all advocate. nyerking and whining about dying is a sure fire way to annoy the Raid Leader. $hit happens and quite often will happen over and over again, and occasionally we will have comedy/stupid deaths too. Just stick your head down, bite your lip and take it out on the next Elyos you see.
- The Triad is primarily a PvP raiding Legion. If you regard PvE as being more important than PvP, then this Legion is not for you. One of the bonuses we will get from being succseful at PvP will be access to PvE bosses and such, so there will be ample oppurtunity for PvE, as we are also aware some of the drops from PvE bosses are too good to turn a blind eye too.
What we are looking for:We are very mature and will not tolerate whiners. Whiners will be shot on site. We need everyone to be dedicated and become one of the team. Most of us here have played together for years and are aware that knowing how each other plays and thinks has a huge role on gaining the upper hand in any situation. We are recruiting from any timezone, and realize the more members we have from different timezones the longer our presence on the field of battle will be.
Base Requirements:- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Ventrilo
- Ablity to run the game with decent fps
- Must be able to communicate in English
- Be able to take criticism with out being a baby if you do something stupid
- We have no desire to mindlessly recruit. We are looking for individuals who excel at the game as well are able to cooperate and work well in groups.
People on trial have around 15 days to show us that they are all we hope for them to be. Whilst being on trial you need to make a good impression to become a member of The Triad. Should you fail to do so your trial will fail and you will be asked to leave or will be removed from the Legion. Receiving an invitation to The Triad does not automatically secure membership - you have to prove that you deserve a spot here.
We may consider extraordinary applicants of any class even if we may not have an urgent need for that specific class.
