Are there available posts about server mechanics?
I played Guild Wars a while back for a long time and moved onto WoW now for a few years. I do prefer WoW mapping and instancing over Guild Wars. EQ is fine, but I prefer instanced dungeons of WoW.
There are clear and distinct difference in server mechanics for environment separation between zones and cities.
- Will the zones be separated from each other like Guild Wars, or seamless as in WoW?
- Will players be able to freely interact with each other in the same world environment like WoW, or does each party have their own copy of the world map like in Guild Wars?
- Will all the players be on a hot-swap server, like Guild Wars, or in segregated servers like WoW?
