« on: February 08, 2008, 06:28:20 PM »
Game release dates are not confirmed yet...there is talk of it being out on 30th of april but only time will tell!!!
to all you who keep asking where i can get it>>>its not out yet...  :D

Price - well i have had some debates about it myself so far it looks like it will be a pay monthly fee but it hasn't been confirmed as to wether itl be one time payment or not-----| $50-for game ($15 monthly) | corrected by ramzes TY ;D

Post ur general thoughts, hopes and wants from Aion to show the GM's what else you would like

My thought...make the flying monster thing i think it was a mantaray but in the sky a real monster to fight but only for a quest in a party large party.

Actually, no. We haven't gone out with any information concerning the business model yet. :)

Well, I'm afraid that your sources must be giving you erroneous information. When we have decided on what business model to use for Aion (in the EU/US), the fansites will be among the first to know. Right now, however, it's not decided. :)

I think I would really like to see customizable detailing on armors and weapons, I have heard somewhere that they will be making it possible to combine weapons/armors so that one does not lose stats when aiming for appearence and vice-versa though I can't remember if this is confirmed, anyone know?

Also I think that I would really like to see a ground mount fighting system (since there is already air combat with wings, I don't really see flying mounts to be necessary) because I have always enjoyed galloping around of a wicked looking armoured horse, and being able to fight on horseback, I think would be a really nice realictis fighting scenario additon. Any comments?

Yea it will be very itneresting to see how to do their moves, hopefully it wont just be two chars hoveirng up in the air exchanging blow after blow standing still. I would really like to see some aerial acrobatics or sometihng going on with the combat.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>About pricing<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Monthly fees suck. It makes you addictive to something and the game will soon take over your real life which is a REALLY bad thing.
I played Guild Wars for 2 years( which is also from NC Soft ). It's a very GOOD game and there ain't monthly fees! Play if you want, no worries if you don't want to play. =DIf they can do it for Guild Wars they can do it for AION.
If they want more money, sell Gold in an online store, or items because...
 1) Nothing stops the chinese gold farmers to sell gold on eBay ...
 2) It will be a free source of money.

They could also sell mission packs ( little expansions ) which is very popular in Guild Wars so it WILL ALSO be the same for AION ( if the game doesn't suck ).
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>About the game<<<<<<<<<<
NC Soft ... should take their time to test AION and UPDATE it before release. It's so annoying -when you format your PC- to have 500+ MB to download when you install the game again.
They should also be carefull with the economy. It's really fragile and players will leave if an exploit is found or if a few bugs implement a roll-back.

Well... I got nothing else to say apart the fact that they should release more information.

Regards,
Andrew
